Vineyard located in Luján de Cuyo and Medrano, Mendoza. Altitude 2100 ft/850 m. Manual harvest. Sandy soils. Maceration fermentation at 79-82°F for 12 days in contact with the skins and soft pumping-over process.
Unoak. Intense red color with violet shades. A pleasing, well-executed mix of ripe, complex blackberry-, plum- and currant- scented fruit with cedar and anise notes. Well structured, finishes with firm tanins.
Serve with grilled meats, steamed vegetables and semi-hard cheeses.
Harvest: early April. pH: 3.80. Alc/vol: 13.5%.
Residual sugar: 1.98 g/L.
