LAZOS TRIO CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Appellation: Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina. 40 to 60 years old vines. Altitude: 900 m / 3000 ft.
Soil: clay loam and some rocks.
Harvest: In mid April.
Maceration: 3 days at 8° C / 46°F
Alcoholic Fermentation: It was carried out with the addition of indigenous yeasts during 15 days in stainless steel tanks at 25º-28ºC / 77º-82ºF. Afterwards, natural malolactic fermentation took place.
Aging: 50% of wine was aged in French oak barrels during 6 months.

Tasting notes: In the nose currant, cherries and tobacco aromas stand out, a slight pepper mint can be discovered. In the mouth, it fill your mouth with rich tannins and flavors. It displays a medium - long n finish with light green notes.
